who is creme de la gems [part one]

It's been a while since I wrote anything about my personal self.
Sharing my creations... plugging my designs...
that's the easy part!

But when it comes to talking about me, the REAL me...
I have a hard time with that.

I figure since I have new facebook fans & blog readers...
I should post a little brush up on who I am.

I'm Tracy.

A work at home Mom & wife who twirls through life wearing a cheesy grin left over from my days as a professional dancer.  I don't consider myself to be a "pro" when it comes to working with polymer clay, but we do seem to get along very well.  Much better than grammar and I get along!

(me + wig cap = keeping it real in a tacky dressing room)

"be our guest"

As long as I can remember, I've always had a passion to create & design pretty things.  There is nothing better than getting lost in a new creation! Anything from a choreography piece, to graphic design, to painting a set, to designing a new necklace... I love all that artistic goodness :)

(set design = a happy booth at handmade markets)

I feel lucky, to have such a supportive family behind me.  My husband Dirk is a gifted singer with a "heart-skips-a-beat" lyric baritone voice, my two sons Justin & Aidan, and my step daughter Taylor.

Both Dirk & I came from marriages which did not work out, for different reasons.
It's a miracle I could ever love or trust again- but Dirk was persistent ;)
When we came together & married, we were ready for each other.
God heals & had plans for us.

January 14, 2002, Aidan was born

To be continued... HERE :)

That is a great idea to let your new people know a little something about you. The people who have followed our blog since the beginning know us good, but those who are new are still learning about us. I have a son as well. Sons are so special. They stir our hearts in so many ways. In fact, the recent post was one of the first ones I did about my son. A lovely weekend to you.
